Spirit of the Wind

Spirit lives up to her name.  She is full of it.  She is an awesome sled dog that can run in wheel, swing, team or sometimes lead.  She is pictured here qualifying for the weight pulling championships on snow for the IWPA.  She did win the gold for region 2.

Shasta (Masta of the trail)  Also an awesome sled dog, that loves to run.  He also qualified on snow for the IWPA weight pulling chaimpionships at Post Falls, Idaho.  He is a very talkative boy that loves to "discuss" his day with you.  Shasta has his CGC, WTD, and is working on his rally novice title.

Stryker (Stryke the trail)
He is our "pretty boy" he needs one more major for his  AKC championship.  He is also the dancing bear on the drop line.  He usually runs in team or wheel.  He is also a favorite of our riders.

Fiona (Fee Fee, aka the MOUTH) Fiona is very vocal at feeding times and waiting to be hooked up on the gangline.  She also has competed in the show ring and has a 3 pt major to her name.  She has one leg on her rally novice title which we hope to finish in the spring.  Fiona can run anywhere on the team except lead but we are working on that.

Seeker (Seek and ye shall find) Is the  second youngest member of our team.  He is still learning the ropes and I hope to some day move him into lead.  He is a full brother to Spirit just from different litters.  He loves to run and is strong as a horse.

Sieloh (TT, named after my beloved
Sierra and Shiloh)
Sie is a part time
sled dog, she sometimes doesn't
play well with others.  She is best when she is
run by herself on the scooter.  She
has her rally novice
title.

Sequoia Blu
is now retired but was one of the
most powerful dogs I have ever had on my team.  He earned numerous weight pulling medals and pulled 4,000 pounds on a wheeled cart by himself at one weight pull.  He is my boy boy, coya and he will always be just a baby to me.

CatyBear one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.  She is a sister to Sequoia and is also retired.  CatyBear has her CGC, WTD, RN and passed her thereapy dog test.  She has visited schools and nursing homes.  CatyBear also has numerous weight pull medals.

Nikolai (Nik Nik)  Nik had a spinal aneurysm at less than 2 years old and had to be retired from the team.  He did love to run and was very powerful.  He enjoys his reitirement time and is a total mama's boy.

Our Honarary malamutes

Gracie (Racie)
Gracie came to us at 8 years old and was a big boost to the team. She has run lead for me for 6 years now and is training some of the younger dogs for lead.  Gracie will be 15 years old 12/12 so she will be retired soon.  Gracie is a true lady and LOVES to run.

Scout (the trail) was a rescue from Siberian husky rescue.  We got her at 14 months old and she had never been in harness before.  I ran her in team 3 times and then moved her up to lead and she has been there ever since. If a team tries to pass us on the trail she will do everything she can to keep ahead of them.  She was born to run and loves it.

Dash(ing through the snow) is an Iditarod
veteran.  She ran lead for 500 miles on the 2010 Iditarod and led into Nome.  She is a very shy girl, which we are working on but lives to run.  She is our newest acquisition and is learning to be a "house" dog AND a sled dog.
